THE POSITION
Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, this position involves a wide range of duties and responsibilities - specifically:
• Answer phones to respond to orders, general customer enquiries, invoice questions, and customer complaints
• Project a professional company image through phone interaction
• Take and process customer orders into specific order processing system
• Provide customers with product and service information
• Communicate with customers and key personnel
• Follow-up on customer enquiries
• Assist Sales Representatives
• Maintain databases and prepare reports
• Undertake other relevant duties as assigned.
THE PERSON
The ideal candidate must:
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Have the ability to deal with a range of customers and queries
• Be highly organised and have the proven ability to multi-task
• Be well-organised, efficient and work as part of a team
• Demonstrate a high level of literacy and accuracy with acute attention to detail
• Possess strong IT skills with a good working knowledge of all Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Access, as well as experience using an order processing system
