Educational Sales Representative

Reporting to the Sales Manager this exciting position involves selling and promoting the company’s highly successful print, digital and e-learning range of publications and resources to schools in Limerick, Clare & Kerry.
We are looking for a well organised self-starter, with a positive outlook, good people skills and ideally with an interest in Education and technology.
The ideal candidate should also be able to demonstrate a high level of skill in the areas of communication, relationship building, organisation, sales presentation and time management.
Key requirements:
- A proven track record in sales is essential with a proven history of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, presentation and customer service skills
- Energy, drive and ambition, with the ability to handle challenges and drive to succeed
- Knowledge of technology and ICT including the basics of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Comfortable with presenting via Microsoft Teams, Zoom and other virtual platforms
- The ability to work as an individual or as part of a highly successful team
- Full driving licence
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Account management of all schools in the territory
- Building and maintaining relationships
- Achieving set sales targets
- Growing product market share
- Participation required at some events held on weekends and/or weekday evenings

Edco Digital Support Technician – Job specification
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be working as part of Edco’s Digital Support Team and will report directly to the CTO. The position involves a wide range of duties and responsibilities, specifically:
- User admin across a number of Edco’s Digital Platforms
- Providing over the phone, remote & occasional on-site support
- Documenting customer service queries and support issues in a clear & concise manner
- Performing feedback collection and analysis across a number of Edco’s digital platforms
- Identifying service and app improvements to drive customer satisfaction and build on Edco’s Digital market share
- Dealing with customer service queries including: registration and access issues
- Managing the digital support phone line
- Providing customers with product and service information
- Assisting Sales Representatives with Digital in-school demonstrations
- Preparing relevant reports
- Undertake other relevant duties as assigned.
Requirements
The successful candidate must:
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and project a professional company image through phone, e-mail and on-site interaction
- Be a positive, pleasant and flexible individual willing to be proactive and work on any given task until it’s completed
- Have strong comprehension of emerging media and technologies
- Be able to work under pressure & multi-task
- Being a team player & a positive influence in the Digital Team
Desirable
- Previous experience working as part of a team
- Previous experience working with a Help Desk
- Possess a 3rd level degree (preferably in an IT related course)
- Have strong mobile, tablet, PC & Mac troubleshooting and support experience
- Full driving licence
