Lift the Spirit of the Nation

The Educational Company of Ireland aims to lift the spirit of the nation during this time of crisis and uncertainty. We are running a Creativity Challenge open to primary pupils in Ireland from Junior Infants to Sixth Class to keep the little kids busy at home and for a chance to WIN a number of amazing prizes.

Who can enter?

As a parent, you can register and enter on behalf of your child or children in Junior Infants to Sixth Class. You all must live in the Republic of Ireland. There are 4 prizes up for grabs for each Class/Category.

What can I enter?

We accept the following art forms:

• Painting/Art

• Drawing

• Poster

• Poem

• Song

How to enter?

Just email lift@edcolearning.ie with the following details and attach your art work on or before Monday, 20th April, 2020.

For any of these: Paintings/Art, Drawings and Poster, just send us a photo of the art work.

For a Poem, you can send us a photo of the written poem or a video of your child reciting the poem.

For a Song, you can send us a video of your child performing the song.

*Terms & Conditions of Entry:

A maximum of 1 art work: Poster/Painting, Drawing, Art, Poem and Song will all be accepted.

You warrant that:

• You are the sole owner of all Intellectual Property Rights in the work that you are submitting
• That the work has not been copied in whole or in part from another person's work
• That you know of nothing that would prevent you from submitting that work for this Creativity Challenge.

Upon entering “Lift the Spirit of the Nation – A Creativity Challenge for Primary Pupils”, you:

• accept that the art work submitted will be available on our website and social media channels
• You agree to be contacted for the duration of the Creativity Challenge. Entrant's personal details will be kept confidential and not be passed to third parties.

Judging Process

All art works will be uploaded in a public album on The Educational Company of Ireland’s Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/EdcoIreland/, according to Class/Category. Each entry will be captioned with your child’s name and school name.

There are 4 prizes up for grabs in each Class/Category. The Educational Company of Ireland team will judge all entries and select 4 Winners in each Class/Category.

Winners of each Prize will be announced on 29 April 2020 and will be contacted privately.
