Biographical Information/ About the Author
Claire Redmond is a teacher of French and English in Maryfield College in Drumcondra, Dublin. She is currently doing a Master of Education in Trinity College. She has been teaching for ten years and has come across all those issues that cause headaches for students, their parents, and their teachers.
Considering most of her working day is spent with teenagers and young people, she explains the points in a manner they can easily relate to. Sometimes, Claire Redmond actually thinks she is a teenager herself.
She knows what catches their attention and bearing this in mind, the students will find references to the X Factor, Ipods and football throughout the examples. At all times, she tries to engage with the students and chat with them rather than talk to them.
